Hi friends! I wanted to have a place for all of the most frequently asked questions I get about our home so they are all in one place for you.
If you are new around here, my name is Rachel and The Rosie Home is our home where cozy meets natural, garden-y vibes with a touch of vintage charm. Learn all about how we made our house a home in this post!
While I don’t have any professional interior design experience, my 10+ years of experience in floral design and natural eye and passion for home decor has allowed me to create a beautiful home that I love.

Our Paint & Stain Selections
THE EXTERIOR
The black color featured on our exterior front porch is Tricorn Black by Sherwin Williams. The contrast with the white is my favorite.
The white paint color is Shoji White by Sherwin Williams.
I love these together paired with the wood accents, which is Baja Beige Color Stain by Sherwin Williams. It is truly a dream!

THE PERFECT WHITE INTERIOR COLOR
The white walls through our home are Westhighland White by Sherwin Williams.
We wanted a universal color throughout the home that ties it all together, and this is a stunning, warm and bright white paint!
THE MASTER BEDROOM
Our master bedroom accent wall is Evergreen Fog by Sherwin Williams.
I love the calmness this color adds to our master bedroom. It is still pretty neutral, but adds dimension and character and adds a statement.

THE MASTER BATHROOM
Our master bathroom paint color is Sashay Sand by Sherwin Williams, and the cabinet stain is Amber Pine by Minwax.
I love the feminine feel of our master bathroom, and it could not have been achieved without this fun paint color. It is subtle while adding the perfect amount of vintage charm.

THE PANTRY
This beautiful pantry is brought to you by Farrow & Ball in the color ‘Inchrya Blue’.
I wanted a moody vibe for this space and this is exactly the look I was going for! I love the balance of this deep color with the warmth of the baskets and storage solutions that are in this space.

Our kitchen cabinet stain is Amber Pine by Minwax.
I love the warmth of the wood in our kitchen and this stain complimented the maple cabinets beautifully.

This baby girl’s bedroom features Hushed Auburn by Sherwin Williams.
I love how feminine and girly it is. Simply stunning!

I love that it isn’t a standard neutral color and fits with our vintage style perfectly.

I love how these two colors came together to create a colorful and welcoming space for our guests.
