If you happen to stumble across my page and are looking for an introduction, my name is Rachel and The Rosie Home is our home on 1.2 acres in Texas. Our home gives nods to cozy, natural, vintage charm, and of course, all of the garden vibes.
I have been a floral designer for 10+ years, and it has overflowed into many areas of my life: weddings, workshops, and my favorite: our home. Learn all about how we made our house a home in this post!

THE FRONT FLOWER BEDS
In our front beds, I have a variety of perennials. We are zones 7-9 which means the yearly mild temperatures are perfect for growing a wide range of plants. I love the mix of lush greens with budding florals to create a lovely statement at the entrance.

POOLSIDE PERENNIAL GARDEN BED
This area is new to us as of this year so I was very excited to pick out all of the plants and flowers for this 25 foot space. I added in some color here to play off of the fun pool vibe, and I couldn’t be happier with how they are doing!

RAISED GARDEN BEDS
The raised beds are along the side of our home and are filled with some familiar favorites along with a few tomato plants. I planted zinnia’s, celosia’s and sunflowers again this year. I always look forward to their vibrant colors and height. It is a joy to go out here each morning with my coffee and my daughters and see what has happened overnight.
